I am thinking about using this yeast while making a clone of Samuel Smiths Oatmeal stout. I thought it would be a good choice because it leaves a residual sweetness and is very flocculent. Its also a true top cropping strain and I plan on doing open fermentation with this batch. Anybody have any experience with this yeast? ever used it for a stout?

Wyeast lists it as suitable for stouts. I believe it's a very similar strain to WLP002 which I'm familiar with and goes great in stouts.
