Yeast Package date in BeerSmith

This is the first batch I've done using a White Labs yeast since starting BeerSmith. How do you know what package date to enter into beersmith?

You look at teh package in your hand for a date.

The date is used to calculate viability of old packages. If you don;t have the yeast yet, ignore the date or use the current date.

90 days prior to its expiration date.

Great, I saw it was 4 months prior to the expiration date on Mr. Malty. Thanks for the responses.
