I have recently learned what smash brewing is and I love the idea! I like IPAs and wanted to use ingredients I've never used before to target that style and get a feel for the ingredient's flavors. What do you guys think of the following recipe?

12 lbs English Maris Otter
.75 oz pacific jade 60 min. boil
.25 oz pacific jade 10 min. boil
Wyeast Ringwood Ale

Well, I like the idea but that seems a little low on the hops if you want a SMaSH IPA. Could get away with way more on the back end and then a dryhop addition too. For IPAs I like a 15, 10, 5, 0 and then a dry hop. Could use a half ounce to an ounce for each. Never used the Ringwood Ale yeast, says it has fruity, malty complex flavor so that could add to a SMaSH brew if you like that description.
