So tonight was not only my first non mr. beer brew, but my first all grain brew as well. I went with EdWort's haus pale ale. No major issues aside from I obviously messed up some readings because my efficiency came out over 100% 
and my CFC had a tiny leak on the water side.
BeerSmith gave me an estimated OG of 1.052 and I hit 1.054 so I think the beer should end up being pretty close to the original recipe. Even if it's not it should still be beer.
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone at HBT, I've been reading everything here non-stop as well as John Palmer's How to Brew. Everything I did today came from one of those two sources and it probably would have been a mess today without them.
