I'm starting on my Single tier sculpture tomorrow and I have no worries concerning that portion of the build however I'm worried looking ahead to putting in temperature controlled burners, there are so many options and ways to do it, could someone point me in the right direction if I decide to use a Ranco controller? What do I need from there? I like how the Brutus 10 burners are set up but I do understand they are potentially unsafe

Use a PID and not the Ranco. A simple furnace gas valve, thermocoupler and standing pilot work fine. We use a more expensive method but it is the safest and easiest to install. We use a 'smart' gas valve with a hot surface pilot. Built in safety. Also, do not run gas through the frame if you are at all concerned about personal safety. Use black pipe rated for gas.
