Was making a starter and dropped the entire bag of yeast nutrient into the pot during the boil:drunk:. Making about a 1 liter starter and the bag said it was good for 5 to 6 gallons. Thought I would check if anyone had any thoughts on this?

ok... excellent learning experience. read the instructions first.

i wouldn't think this would be a problem. the yeast just have LOTS of food to eat now. but i would recommend getting more nutrient for the full batch. decant the excess water from the starter as always and use the yeast.
