I've looked around for this information, but I can't find a good answer. So far, I've brewed four batches of beer. With the first one, I used the standard 5oz of priming sugar to carbonate. For the second, I used 2/3 cup of brown sugar. For the third, I used 1/2 cup of molasses. For my fourth batch, I was planning on trying DME, because I've heard some positive things about it. In my notes, I wrote down 1.5 cups of DME to prime, but now I'm thinking that this might be way too much. Anyone have a suggestion on how much I should use? This is for my oatmeal stout. Thanks!
