I have come across a pumpkin ale recipe and still have a couple left over from autumn as well as a spare demijohn so I'm thinking of giving it a crack 1 gallon only as that's my spare demijohn and am still needing to keep everything else going as I've run out of beer that's ready
--1 kg pumpkin (roasted so the pulp )
.5kg malt extract ( I have some extra dark dried spare )--375g sugar
1gallon water --ale yeast
Firstly any ideas what it's likely to taste like and the any pit falls I'm likely to encounter
It's a pretty simple recipe

Well it did not clear aswell as it could have but bottled now.
Sample tasted great start OG 1063 FG 1010
So a little strong I can't wait to try it
