my GF has one of the insanely expensive blenders (vitamix) and i was wondering if anyone has one of these? have you used the dryblade to make flour out of brewing grain?
 
I have done this to make bread. You have to dry the spent grain first in the oven or dehydrator. Its a bit coarse but it does the job.
 
i use spent grain all the time... do you mean you grind it? i like the texture of it whole.

i was wondering if anyone had used fresh (unused) grain to make flour...
