Everyone keeps slipping their hop stash in here and there to show off their stock to get through this shortage. I wanna see 'em all together! (and show em ;) ) How much of this hop shortage damage is being created by HBT alone!

I'll have to check my freezer after throwing my current brew in the fermenter. I'll post back with mine soon.

All pellets:

1lb 3oz EKG
1lb Styrian
1lb Saaz
15oz Fuggles
14oz Cascade
13oz Simco
13oz Chinook
8oz Hallertauer
5oz Brewer's Gold
5oz Challanger
3oz Summit
1oz strisselspalt
1oz marynka
edit: checked the freezer, also have:
3oz Vanguard
3oz Galena

... I think that's it, still too lazy to go to the freezer and check.

1lb Hallertau
12 oz EKG
4 oz Centennial
2 oz Columbus
2 oz Chinook
4 oz Simcoe
1 oz Amarillo
Plus left overs from previous batches.

All pellets.

Conveniently, I took a detailed inventory not long ago.
Amounts in ounces, all pellets except last two as marked:
1.8 EKG
1 Perle
4 Cascade
3 Centennial
0.5 Hersbrucker
2 Willamette
2 Amarillo
3 Simcoe
1 Target
2 Tettnang
2 Hallertau
4 Magnum
3.7 Columbus
4 First gold
3 Fuggle
4 Ahtanum
1 Vanguard
2 Sterling
1 Glacier
1 Polish Lublin
2 Cascade (whole)
1 Saaz (whole)
Whole lot of variety, but not a lot of any one hop. Never finished figuring out which hops I should really stock up on, and I missed my chance when the price increases hit. And can you tell I bought a lot of "new" varieties to experiment with?

I did too, I made a belgian with polish marynka and french strisselspalt. It's been in secondary for a while, but man it tastes GOOOD. I put a ton of those hops in it and even dry hopped with french strisselspalt.

I'm done now, you can have the rest. I am good for at least a year now.

Yeah, I am looking to buy some more.

Does anyone know if Hopsdirect is as generous with their pellets as they are their whole hops? I didn't want to start another thread....

Nope you get exactly 16 oz of pellets from what I hear.

Damn! I really can't deal with the wort loss due to whole hops right now especially since I want to order for my highly hopped beers. Oh well, guess I shouldn't worry about not getting what I paid for.

Here's a picture of my stash:

thats awesome ...

my old lady is ill with me for buying 2 pounds of hops this week, I'll show her your stash to make my 2 pounds not look like so much

ha ha ha

Just bought a Foodsaver tonight after getting in a big shipment so I could portion out the hops and seal them up.

Here's what I have at the moment:
5923-100_0796.JPG

Leaf or plug:
21.15 oz Ahtanum
20.45 oz Cascade (6.6%)
3.45 oz Cascade (6.9%)
1 oz Amarillo

Pellet:
18.35 oz Cascade
19.75 oz Amarillo

I also have these pellet hops on the way, but not delivered yet:
1 lb Kent Goldings
6 oz Fuggles
6 oz Target
6 oz Hallertau Hersbrucker

difficult to see due to the poor photo but I had to turn off the flash 'cause of the shiny packaging...

hop_inventory.jpg

That big silver thing at the back is a 5kg block of Goldings. Mmmmm :ban:

East Kent Goldings 7.6kg
Fuggles 1.6kg
Target 200g
Cascade 100g
Northdown 100g
Mount Hood 100g

You've probably worked out that I use a lot of EKG and Fuggles in my beers :)

Not quite as generous, but I got a little more than three ounces extra in each of the pellet packages I just got from them. The leaf bags had 4 or 5 extra ounces.
