I've just put my Dunkelweizen in secondary (carboy). I thought about cold crashing it, Is it necessary?? It is pretty dark yet. It is supposed to be alittle cloudy for a wit right? Anyway will I be wasting my time or will it be beneficial. This will be my first attempt at kegging so I guess I'm alittle nervous

I just kegged my Dunkel Weizen Saturday. I left it for three weeks in the primary, then straight to the keg.

If you cold crash, you will lose a lot of the yeast taste.
