Does anyone have any experience using a Carboy Cap on the 23L Paklab Glass Carboy? I just picked 4 carboys up, and I have a bunch of Carboy Caps. However, in order to get them on, I had to soak the Caps in hot water and stretch them over. Is that normal (I didn't have to do that when I was using Better Bottles)?

i only have one carboy cap that i never use (hate them, much prefer stoppers), but it fits very loosely over several of those carboys that i have. that is one of the reasons i dont use the cap- no positive seal, and the inside is textured(!)... how the hell is it supposed to seal against glass??
