Hi all,
I am taking a chance with creating my own extract recipe instead of a kit for the first time. Can anyone recommend a good specialty grain for the all Cascade IPA (5 Gallon batch) I plan on making? I was thinking 1 lbs of Briess Caramel 40L but am definitely not too sure.
Thanks!
Mike

40L is good, and so is a bit of 40L with some victory malt. Up to a pound of crystal 40L would be ok, or you could do a mix of .5 pound crystal/.5 pound victory malt.
