Made in Portland, Oregon by Jim Thompson for Alberta Brewing Company, 2011. 9% ABV. “Autumn” hand colored lithograph, Currier & Ives (1871) The predominant mood of autumnal celebrations is a gladness for the fruits of the earth mixed with a certain melancholy linked to the imminent arrival of harsh weather. Poet John Keats describes Autumn as a time of bounteous fecundity and “mellow fruitfulness”.
