  • I've been regularly homebrewing since last May, doing a different style pretty much every month and made the jump from extract with steeped grains to all-grain by my fourth batch. Some, including SWMBO (who really doesn't like beer at all, and can't stand to be in the house when I brew indoors) would say I've been somewhat obsessed. Without much of a budget, I've been going DIY on pretty much everything and have been lucky enough to be the recipient of some key equipment (24 qt kettle, bench capper, immersion wort chiller) donated by family and friends that either don't brew anymore, or have extra stuff.

24 qt aluminum HLT/BK (larger one soon, probably SS, maybe keggle, maybe electric)
    Bayou Classic SQ14 w/ 100# tank
62 qt Coleman MLT (The Monster Masher)
  • Wrye Bastard; JZ's No Short Measure Ordinary Bitter
  • Both empty... for now.
  • Sorachi-Celeia Ja-Pilsner (lagering); Cynthia's Sparkles Pyment
  • Ville d'Mont Saison (5.8%); Pulpit Harbor English IPA (6.9%); Hazy Confusion IPA (inspired by Boulder Brewing Co.'s Hazed and Infused) (6.9%); Warm Cookie Holiday Ale (7.9%); Peat Smoked Rye Porter (4.6%); The Dank(ish) IPA (7.5%); Hazy 2.1 IPA (8.3%)

Au Revoir: Pinola Point Pale (4.3%); Terrible Two ESB (5%)
  • No keg system... perhaps one day.
