I skipped the yeast option and bought some safale-05. I typically use dry yeast in place of 001
or 1056. Full boil, all grain.

I also got this kit on Friday July 5. I am brewing it tonight and plan on using some muslin
bags which I rarely use. What yeast are you using?

The RIS has been in the barrel since Thursday and I plan on sampling tonight or tomorrow. I

I just got a 5gal oak barrel from Balcones that had single malt whisky in it. I already put a
RIS in there to age. My question is how do I get 2, 3, 4, etc beers to age in there without
    souring them? ...

I am brewing this tonight. I threw .5lb of rice hulls in there just to avoid any sticking.
Should be an amazing smelling boil!

All of the ingredients are ones I already have so it will be cheap and tasty. If this recipe
    works out nice...

That helps, thanks. It will still be super cheap and hopefully not too sweet.

Ok, so I have almost a full 5-gallon bucket of this stuff and more than that of the wheat. All
of it was free and I need a good way to use a lot of it up. Suggestions?
