Not sure why I didn't think of this earlier, but a ratchet strap could be used keep the
pressure on for a sustained period of time and probably get a slightly better yield.

I did this with a Northern Brewer Cream Ale extract kit last fall. Pumpkin was unavailable due
to crop shortage so I just used pumpkin pie spice in the secondary and it turned out awesome.

Killian's red is priced about the same as the BMC's and is pretty good for the money. We don't
