When you say full, you do mean a 30 gallon barrel?That's 3 back to back batches on my system to

You can get a full size used barrel for 135 bucks.The small barrels are a rip off. Even worse
the service area to beer makes them terrible from both an oxygen exchange and oak surface area
to beer vol...

Lots of EMAW stuff on that list, but jackie o's sours are all brewery only releases and as of
late 1PP limit. Block 15 and side project are the same or worse.

Yes, for most fruits that would not be enough, but especially strawberries. The flavor transfer
is mild at best with strawberries.

It doesn't really matter if fermentation has stopped completely, the strawberries will kick it

Wax most of the barrel. Oxygen pickup is your enemy. You also may get too much oak on such a
small barrel, especially at first. I would probably only keep beers in there a few weeks at
first and age i...
