ABOUT ME

Home Brewing Biography: I had wanted to get into brewing, but never had the space/equipment etc. Then one day a friend goes lets brew. So we did. I had a 12 qt stockpot for making soup stock. We bought an extract kit, and did a partial boil, chilled in a bathtub full of ice, brought to volume, and pitched. I now have a 10 gallon pot that fits over 2 burners of my old gas stove. I do AG BIAB sparaging with my little 12 qt stockpot.
Future Brews: SWMBO Slayer- BIAB, FWH, and no chilled (hope it works)
Primary: Black Pearl Porter
Secondary: Not using one.
Bottled: Autumn Amber (extract)rnMaple Ale (extract)

Welcome!!! I'm not exactly sure what your question is though. Are you not liking the price of

I'm very interested as well...LOVE ginger. And my 2 cents :) Thick skin ginger is spicier and a
little bit of hot pepper (maybe in the mash/boil) would help bring out some ginger zing.
