Lots of posts since last I bumped this thread. I started a series of interviews with local
craft brewers including Shannon Brewing in Keller, TX and Division Brewing coming soon to
    Arlington, TX. In t...

We went to the American Homebrewers Association Rally at Community Beer Co. in Dallas, TX this
past weekend. We sat down and talked with some local homebrewers, went on a VIP tour of

I did a hatch chile porter last year that turned out phenomenal. Instead of tossing peppers
directly into the mash or fermentor, I made a tincture by soaking the roasted peppers (seeds
    and all) in a s...

Somehow, I managed to strip the poly cord from the ratchet pulley last weekend. Is there an
easy way to get it back in there correctly? I was in the middle of a brew session with 35+ lbs
    of hot wet gr...

I forgot to post my other paddle I made. I didn't oil or coat this one at all, and I've used it
in my last 3 or so batches without issue. It's poplar, cut the shape with a jigsaw, cut the
    holes with v...
