+1 to the orange stopper in the post above. You can dry the rubber stoppers but they still
slide up a bit. With this one you don't have to worry about them sliding up and popping out

For me it's the hops that hit the most, so if I'm making a beer that's low on hops like belgian
blondes or trippels , etc it will be significantly cheaper than a very hoppy IPA with 8-12 oz

I've never used a false bottom so I can't say anything about that, but I use one of those
"bazooka" screen tubes and never had a problem with it.
