    Your top off water will have 0 ibus. Resulting ibus after dilution would be initial ibus x
    (original volume / total volume)In your example that would be 26 x (3/5) = 15.6

    I would return them and get oak that is toasted. Untoasted oak is going to taste well, like a
    tree. The toast is what brings out the vanilla and other flavor descriptors you hear about.
