    Thanks...I have a stick with gallons marked. This is how I knew I was .5 gallons off. I will
    increase my boil time by 30 mins.

    How much longer do I need to boil if I ended up with 8 gallons of wort when I was to hit 7.5

    Not sure if the rust is in the inside or outside but if it is in the inside I soaked mine with
    a heavy dose of PBW. After 24 hours I scrubbed it away.

    It will work. Most generators produce 30 Amps on the 220V side. Keep the generator far enough
    way from the brewing area and kick the tunes up to listen to something besides the sounds of
    the generator...
