One more thing to add is the yeast tend to go to sleep if chilled rapidly enough. So you

I scored a 38 with a coconut beer in our fair. I brewed my favorite porter recipe (robust),
added about a 1lb of coconut - toasted with a frying pan until golden brown - to a stainless
brewing dry hop...

It'll seal around the lid, you'll be fine. I've never had an issue.

Thanks I brought in a consultant (trusted homebrew friend) to ferment something I brewed. Still
trying to figure it out though. I did replace the disconnects though fwiw

I have had something like this for a while. They rock for tailgating or parties. I used a

At my wits end here. New regulator and lines, problem persists. Soak fermenters/kegs in pbw,
rinse with water and then rinse with starsan right before filling. Left a 1.045 beer on the
yeast for 3 wee...
