    Do you take apart the spring tip on your bottling wand? OK, I give. I'v been brewing for

    Distilled water should be fine for extract brewing.

    Ok, took a look at the link. 1.069 os the OG and that would give you a pre boil gravity of
    1.060 at 81% mash efficiency.

    I do as part of my process and for (imo) clearer beer. Let me explain. I have 2 6 gal carboys
    that are my primaries and 4, 5 gal carboys as secondarys. I like to let my beer sit for 4 weeks
    after brew...
