I recently upgraded from eBIAB to a BrewEasy but with my own controller. I calibrated both
Blichmann thermometers to a floating thermometer. On the first batch I noticed my RTD probe was

I have a 2 kettle RIMS with 2000w boil coil and I love it. I dropped the batches down to 4
gallons and get a good rolling boil. Like bbrim I get fairly quick ramps when doing step mashed
and mash out.

Another suggestion for a PID controller:110v Recirculating eBIAB 2.5 gallon batches compact
and looks cool. I use it with my 2000w boil cool.

If it doesn't protrude into the kettle I would be worried readings aren't accurate since liquid

Yea I made all the math adjustments when I entered it in BruNwater. It's municipal water so

I definitely adjust for the actual alpha acid. I use Beer Smith so I can change it on the fly
on brew day.
