That number on the yeast bottle is referring to gravity,not volume.So that was my concern. The
gravity is too high for the yeast. Should I try to find a solution?

In retrospect you could have added some top off water to get back to your target OG.If I were
you I would just leave it alone and let it do its thing. WLP002 is a great yeast, I love it.

Attempted my first partial mash yesterday. Epic brew day. Took about twice as long as i figured
it would. It is not easy bringing 5 gallons to boil on the stove. Anyway,I was aiming for 4.5

New Here,Been following the boards and doing plenty of research. I helped friends brew and i
did my own extract brew. I intend to do a partial mash on my stove top and was hoping that you
might see so...
