    Its normal for me and I have upgraded the lid and ashpan seal. Must be some other leaks we have

    Thanks. I will give it a try. It just seems like you should be able to shut it down quicker and
    control temps easier.

    My looked terrible after only about 3 months outside, looks like its a 10 year old faded piece
    of junk. Anyone ever get a cover out of Chargriller? It is easy to use and I like the way it

    I definately got mine hot for about 30 minutes 650 +- deg. After that I shut all the vents down
    even latched the lid and could only get it to drop 100-150 degrees. 2-3 hours later it was
    still over 30...
