  • A car-guy with a drinking problem? A beer enthusiast behind the wheel?... Hmm, neither of those sound good... Actually I'm an avid gamer who enjoys nothing more than sitting in his easy-chair with the computer game going, watching some late-night TV with a cat in his lap... Good times, good times...

  • I had done minor research into homebrewing and knew that kits were available, but just never took the next step. Then a coworker picked up a kit in preparation for Thanksgiving, and in telling me about it, helped me decide to get started myself.
  • I'm learning more and more about beers and the homebrewing hobby every day, so my goals and plans and ideas change constantly. All I know is I plan to have fun, and I've been doing that pretty well so far!

I'm confused as to how this is going to work out exactly. At CHI Company, you can get 2
2-circuit cold plates (8x12") for about $75 each, but they don't come with fittings. Stainless
    Brewing has 25 ft...

Well yes, it'll be a few hundred. I'm going to try to keep it from being a LOT of hundreds of
dollars... :-)Nice thing is, my work "status" might get me some pretty neat custom parts...

It's taken me three weeks of nagging a Craigslist seller, but I finally went and picked up this
little gem just the other day: a 16V "Kid Trax" SRT Viper ride-on car for kids. It doesn't
    run, and it ...

I agree except for the "extracting tannin flavors" part - how would extra sparges extract
tannins?Still - how do you explain the math? I've read the three-part series on efficiency on
    HBT. My numbers ...
