    ABOUT ME

  • I'm a student at MCC majoring in Respiratory Therapy.I'm pretty much brand new to the brewing game. I've only been doing all grain (anyone who has ever made a Mr. Beer kit brew will understand me lack of trust for extract.) I've been at it since 08-27-13. I've learned a ton in this short time and made many friends already. My roommate is very in to brewing mead and wine. Together, we get shit done.

Did you double check the hydrometer in water, to make sure it's accurate? You're not using a
refractometer, I assume, but if you are put it away and grab a hydrometer reading. Yeah it

I personally really like to use Isinglass. I usually mix it in at the same time that I throw in
the sorbate. Some people like it, some people don't. It usually only takes about 2 weeks to
    settle.
