I racked a smaller beer on to a yeast cake on saturday, and it blew the lid off the fermenter
twice within 5 hours of pitching, even with a small blowoff.

My wife complains that some of the beers I brew have an "earwax" aftertaste that is present in
other beers, but not to the same extent. I have brewed a PM IPA, a PM stout, and a PM pilsner.
