White powdery does sound like an infection. Did it look like this? If so, not good news for
your amber. Your beer might end up a lot more like the beers you were just drinking in Belgium.

Ok so I just arrived home last night from a 3 week Belgian beer holiday and looked in on my

About all you can do at this point. You could get lucky, with giving it more time. You might
try pitching in fresh yeast (make a starter though). If you do that, chances are you'll need to
oak it agai...
