    I brewed this up last week - 5 days in, added a few vanilla beans that have been soaking in
    Vodka to the fermenter.Cannot WAIT for this to be done

    The green color is probably from the hops...I'm guessing the sample was drawn from the end of
    the brew kettle? Either way, it's not something to worry about

    It's not so much hard as it is high in alkalinity. Dilution with distilled or RO is probably
    the only sure solution to utilize that water for a light beer like Kolsh but the dilution ratio
    would be so...
