I agree, you realy need a propane burner and tank to get a decent boil, even on 5 gallons. I

Look for a good brew equipment kit like shown above. Look for a stainless steel pot (4-5 gallon
capacity). You can usually pick up a 4 gallon stainless stock pot for about $20-30. Dead Guy

Do you have a large enough pot to do a full boil (at least 8 gallon)?I also found out that my
