Do you guys think something is wrong with my pump? don't have a greatbreweh but I have a
similar pump. Mine is directly connected to the kettle.(check my sig). Priming seems to be an
    issue with these...

I would suspect the 3000 watts would be enough to boil 7 gallons. I know I've read some people
have luck with 2000 watts being able to boil 7 gallons. I'm guessing there are some other
    factors involve...

Did it look sturdy? I'm wondering whether you could put those straight onto a frame so you
wouldn't need a table top at all.2 of them side by side would be plenty wide enough for a keg.I
    wouldn't trus...

Not sure its the case here, but I always had trouble boiling with just a 2000w element using a
large diameter pot, when i switched to a smaller diameter I could achieve a weak boil.

You know with a 120v 2000w element you dont need the stove at all. Mine heats from cold tap
water to boil in 35min.I would tend to disagree on the only needing a 2000w element. I think
    there are a few...

I think it depends on how much you want to invest. You could pretty easily go tphjr route with
minimal investment, or you could build a full on electric kettle. Which you could then add in
    the HERMS c...

Is it a gas or electric stove you're using? there are a few examples of people using an
electric stove in combination with an electric brew kettle. Some have even unplugged their
    stove to use 240v.If ...

I got the generic versions off Ebay. Although it looks like the seller currently isn't selling
any, you could try messaging them directly. I got 7 sets of for right around 30 bucks.

Russki,I was getting ready to add a sight glass to my rig, but can't decide if the eye bolt
that holds the top of it will get in the way of the basket. It looks as if you were able to get
    the basket i...
