  • Started extract brewing in the mid 1990's. Quit for about 10 years and now I'm back. Doing 5 gallon AG batches. I use an Igloo cooler and do batch sparging. I really really love doing all grain. It's funny you don't realize how much you miss something till you start doing it again. I've gotten several of my friends involved and they love it. If I had a motto I would say brew with friends............rnrnCheers and all that stuff!

    Good point. Really only need 10 minutes and you have it sanitized enough.

    might be mistaken, but that just looks like hot break. it should be fineAgree it looks like hot
    break. Did you add any hops to your starter? You will see that with a hopped wort.

    What yeast did you use? If it is in the FG range for it then you can move it. Another option is
    to do a gravity reading 3 days in a row. If you don't see any change then you can move.Another

    Yes you will have to adjust. Unfortunately it will be a bit of a guessing game. Err on the side
    of caution. Nobody likes bottle bombs.

    Looks pretty good. If you wanted to you could switch some of the pale wheat to barley to keep
    more of a half and half proportion. Either way you should have a tasty beverage there
