Ok, I took your ^^^^^ advice. My regulator was a gift (it's old) from a buddy that distributes
CO2 and it only goes down to about 12 psi, but I can adjust it at the distributor too.

doesn't a cold water bath take much longer to cool than dropping ice directly into the wort?
just because of the surface area issue?a wort chiller is in the future for me just not exactly
in my budget...
