My first two batches ever were True Brew kits. I followed the instructions to the letter and
they turned out great. As for the yeast, what Atonk said. Aerate it. Good luck!

Matt - you should be just fine. Many here say you really aren't a homebrewer until you've
mopped your ceiling! Maybe use a blow-off tube in the future to prevent this, but there
shouldn't be anything ...

I'm also confused. There shouldn't be a spigot on your fermentation bucket. Also, if it's in a
bucket, how can you tell if it's milky? Is it a clear bucket? My advice on this one is to leave
it alone ...

Where did all of the hops come from? From your boil? Or did you dry-hop in your primary? You
want to dry-hop after fermentation finishes.

No, it won't mess anything up... Just more cost effective in the long run to only use what you
need. You will be fine with what Mr. Malty says on this one! Good luck.
