Agreed about the headspace, but this is still fermenting. I added five more pounds of honey six
days ago and will top off to the neck when I rack off all the sediment.

This Pear Mead is 3 weeks old. I racked it to this carboy from a fermenting bucket last night.
Looking back in my notes, the OG was only 1.085. Right now it's down to 1.005 with light

Brewcephus, Might I ask did you bottle directly from the primary? Also how many weeks old was
it when you bottled and carbed?
