Yes, I'll be using a starter in the future. When I was brewing back in the early '90's the only
yeast we could get was dry. 12 hours after it was pitched things were going nuts with it.

Used WLP500 liquid, pitched straight from the vial after aerating the wort; no starter.
Starting to get a little action now but REALLY slow getting started. I'll keep an eye on it for
the next day or ...
