  • As soon as I became more interested in all different types of beer, I met a friend that introduced me to how simple home brewing can be. I basically got started the next week!

    Started with a Rogue Dead Guy extract clone. Pretty good, not perfect.

    Second we brewed a Rochefort 8 clone. Pretty darn good.

    Third, we decided to branch out and get a little bit experimental with a dunkelweizen recipe... not great.

    The future is looking brighter.

    I'm using a chest freezer and the Johnson controls A419 to control the fermentation temps. I
    properly set the SP (65) and DIF (3) but for some reason, it lets the freezer cool all the way
    down to 52 b...
