  • Been homebrewing for about 10 years now. Drinking a friend's "Dark Sleep Stout" out of a corny at a party in 2000 got me hooked. Went all grain and up to 10 gallon batches last year. I like making all types of ales but always have to have an IPA on tap. My setup now is completely fabricated by myself and building it was as much fun as brewing.

I used 3x2x.083 tubing for my 3 tier. I would recommend you not use less than 1.5x1.5x.065. I
plan to build a single level from stainless next spring and will use 2x2x.065. Better safe than

When I brew 10 gallons I always try to put close to 11 into the fermenter. I usually end up

    little extra i...

looks.Well, yeah, it probably is, but common guys like me don't ever have to worry about

Anyone else get the casters for their Fermenator? Mine just came in and I am so pleased that I
coughed up the cash for them. It is nice to be able to maneuver the fermenter now.
