    and my friends drank it all. and now a stout in bottles

    Piss Yeller!! that Was what the recipe called it an all grain try. A stout,a boston Lager ale thing try,and a lemon summer beer. so far its all good !

    Thanks for all the input it looks like im gonna have to add some extract or dextrose like you
    suggested and a 3-4 % session beer isnt all bad lol most of my brews are 4-5% now and i do a
    few lower ses...

    im doing all grain now but only 2.5 gallon batches with a 3 gallon boil it makes about 24 beers
    when im done.Its BIAB im doing and i can fit enough grain in the bag for a 5 gallon batch but

    Do i have to make a starter from washed yeast or can i just throw it into my next batch? The
    washed yeast will only be in the fridge for about a week before i brew again.

    i didnt wash it i just poured the new wort straight on the cake. the gravity sample tasted good
