I ran them side by side, bringing 5 gallons to a boil. For the one test, my old SQ14 came to a
boil a little faster, but not by much. I do not recall what the numbers were. I sent it back

Another thing you could try is to use a baby bottle nipple. You cut off the nipple part and use
the base. They are silicone, food safe, and can be heated. I originally got the idea from a
post on HBT ...
