Sorry if this has been asked already, so the dry hop lasts a total of 12 days.Do you bag each
addition then take them out when the next addition goes in, or do all the additions stay in for
the entire...Posted in thread: Citranella XPA on 03-29-2013 at 02:46 AM
I haven't used much Maris Otter before. If I skipped the Munich/C10 all together and just used
50% Pale Male, 45% Maris Otter and 5% White Wheat, would there be enough malt to support 40
IBUs and the ...Posted in thread: Citranella XPA on 03-26-2013 at 08:58 PM
Thanks for the feedback. I will definitely sub in the Munich instead of the Crystal (not sure
why I didn't think of that). I'll probably go ahead and dry hop with both as well (say 1oz of
each?) I'm g...Posted in thread: Citranella XPA on 03-26-2013 at 07:00 PM
I'm looking to try the Hopburst technique on a Citra and Nelson Sauvin Extra Pale Ale. I'm not
a fan of heavy crystal malted pale ales, so I was hoping to avoid a ton of crystal, but used
the MO & C10...Posted in thread: Black Wheat on 03-12-2013 at 12:40 PM

Wouldn't this go well with a hefeweizen yeast? More like a dunkelweizen? That's how it strikes
me?!320 is the american hefe yeast. Its a little more subdued than the 300. I didn't want
bubble gum and ...Posted in thread: Black Wheat on 03-11-2013 at 02:17 AM
That's basically what happened with my attempt at a Schwartzweizen. I ended up calling it a
"Wheat Stout." I haven tried it again, but when I do, I think I'll stick with chocolate malt
and Carafa II o...Posted in thread: Black Wheat on 03-11-2013 at 12:01 AM
What yeast was used??I used WLP320. I agree regarding the black wheat. I'd prob do half a pound
and it'd be fine. A pound was prob too much. Was a tasty beer though.Posted in thread: BIAB; Can use a second pot if I don't have a huge brewpot? on 01-10-2013 at 10:05 PM
I've been reading through various threads and am frankly getting overwhelmed with all the
different approaches and variations people use.Basically, if (?) my brewpot (8 gal) can't fit a
full volume of...Posted in thread: My eBIAB single-vessel build on 12-17-2012 at 11:11 PM
Wow! That looks fantastic! Can't wait to see your brew day pics. What does the underside of the
lid look like? I was checking out the eBIAB system from High Gravity versus building my own
like yours. W...
