    ABOUT ME

  • I'm originally from Nebraska and lived in Orange Co. for 5 years. I moved to Mississippi now to work on my Ph.D. New to brewing as of July 2011 and enjoying it already.

  • Heard about it from my brother who's brewed a number of excellent batches. We have an equipment setup from Midwest supplies and will be doing extract brewing for the foreseeable future. Just got a great deal on a kegerator and kegs from craigslist, so now I'll be kegging most of my homebrews!

Yes, I do use StarSan...that's probably it. I'm going to leave it in secondary as it doesn't
look like anything is spreading or growing eyeballs or anything. :cross:Thanks for the advice!

I sure thought we sanitized everything well. We are very cautious, in my opinion. I've heard
the white film (has some flakes of white, too) is nothing to worry about, but I've also heard
    there's a 50/...

Hey all,I racked my NB Belgian Dubbel to secondary last week after 2 weeks in primary. It's
developing that thin white film on top that everyone says is mostly harmless unless it sits too
    long. My que...

I don't care what they say about heroin, homebrewing has GOT to be more addictive.

To go along with this argument, I have been in MS for 32 years now, have practiced law for 9
and brewed beer and wine for about 2 years- I'm not stopping, but would love to see it truly
    legalized as w...

I hope my comments don't come off as being a "prick" but Reb Ale is available in more places
then just Oxford (although that is definitely what it is about "Rebels"). And according to Miss
    Code Ann 67...
