My batch of Graff never stopped bubbling from the airlock. I got a 1.008 SG reading twice in 3
days and it was still bubbling 4 or 5 times a minute. As has been said, trust your hydrometer.

Hmm... wonder whether my grocery store has any of this. It's basically a coctail of every
enzyme needed, plus more: so this thread has me inspired. I was at walmart with SWMBO and I
    figured if I sta...

How long was your graff in the primary before you racked it over?At the time of racking I
thought it had been at least two weeks (I didn't take any notes 'cause it was my first batch
    and I slacked, re...

I racked my graff onto 1 tablespoon ( I was going to go for a little less, but the stuff was
crazy cloudy) of knox gelatin yesterday and this evening it's already cleared a whole bunch. As
    of now it's...

  • Posted in thread: How do you keep the gunk out of the fermenter? on 12-01-2009 at 02:13 AM
I've only done 2 batches (plus a wine), so take my advice with a grain of salt. I filter it
through a grain bag folded over a couple times and placed in my funnel. I still let a little

I've been using Kiddo and Baby. Although if I say Baby, it has to be said with the same high
pitched girlish enthusiasm my neice has when she's patting SWMBOs preggo belly.:p

I'm very excited to try this cider out. I'm steeping my crystal as I type this! I helped my dad
with a couple beer kits in the last few years but this is my first brew on my own with my own
    equipment....
