Your recipe overall looks fine. You may need a lot more pumpkin. I made a 5 gallon pumpkin
saison with 4lbs of pumpkin in the mash and I couldn't taste the pumpkin in the finished
product at all. You ...Posted in thread: Temp on plastic primary? on 03-21-2012 at 05:09 PM
Yup, that's what I use and it works for me.Posted in thread: Newbie Sour Help! on 03-09-2012 at 04:39 PM
I actually haven't ever brewed with acid malt. I've heard from other folks in my homebrew club
its not quite the same as actually souring your wort. Not that it's bad necessarily, think hot
chocolate ...Posted in thread: 7 Days and this is what my beer is looking like ? on 03-01-2012 at 04:38 PM

Every fermentation is going to be a bit different. If you're really nervous about it you could

You bottle when fermentation is complete. The best way to tell is have two gravity readings

I'd just give it more time. Airlock activity is not a good indicator of fermentation. It is
possible that the airlock isn't on all the way or that there isn't a perfect seal on the

Looks great to me. When in doubt you can always run it through again. You can grind it as fine
as you want as long as you throw some rice hulls in there.Posted in thread: Flat Beer on 02-09-2012 at 05:40 PM
How much priming sugar did you add/what size batch did you make/how long was your primary?I may
try another beer also. When you're bottling beer quality can really vary from bottle to bottle.Posted in thread: Pre-bottling on 02-09-2012 at 05:36 PM
If you can avoid moving it that's certainly better. But there are a few things to watch out
for.- Beer getting light struck(Skunked) - Keep it out of the sun while moving, so keep it
under a blanket o...
