These are 1-5/8" 'Kennel Fence Clamps" This pole is 1-1/4" EMT. Might go with 1-1'2" next year
as it does flex a bit. I have a cable from the top back to the fence at a 45° angle to help.

A 2" piece of electrical EMT slipped snugly inside the 2-1/2" corner fence post. Straight,
