The hardest part for me was realizing that no imported German beer (that I could get) tasted as
good as it did in Germany. That and the fact that you can't bottle gemütlichkeit...Enjoy the

I've heard of plenty of breweries just giving out free yeast but I've never heard of a person
paying for it. I would just ask and if they say no then no big deal.

You really have to be careful when using DME that has hardened. It can sink to the bottom of
your kettle like a rock and scorch. I've had to go DME rock fishing in my kettle and that
wasn't very fun. ...
